African Sculpture

All 9 of the pieces below were inspired by the Surma and Mursi tribes of the lower valley of the Omo, at the boarders of Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan. These people love to adorn their bodies with papyrus, paint, mud, flowers and wild fruit trees.
